Stargazing @ Stonelick Lake - Saturday April 17th

The predictions look great - clear and cool. There's winter stuff in the West, spring galaxies near the meridian, M3 & 5 rising in the East. The sun's setting around 8:30 and by 9:00 it's dark enough to observe.
This is a great opportunity to view planets, galaxies, nebulae, star clusters and stars. It is also a good opportunity to see numerous types of telescopes in action, ask questions and become involved in the fascinating world of astronomy. Most amateur astronomers are more than willing to have you look through their telescopes as well as explain astronomical concepts, from basic to complex.

Look likes were going to have a great night for observing. Last Saturday we had a good crowd of people there and had fun observing, learning and teaching. I'll be seeing you there.
