Stargazing @ Stonelick Lake - Saturday November 29th
The predictions aren't encouraging for Saturday night stargazing.
They've been wrong before & if it look like we'll have clear skies call me for an update.

Stargazing @ Stonelick Lake Saturday November 22nd
The predictions all agree - partly to mostly cloudy & really cold.
If they're wrong and the sky looks good we'll be setting up around 7:30.

Stargazing @ Stonelick Lake Saturday November 1st

The latest predictions are calling for partly cloudy with a low in the mid 40s on Sat. night.

The sunset's around 7:30, we'll be setting up scopes around then. Coffee by 10 or 11:00.

Stargazing tonight - Saturday Oct.25th @ Stonelick Lake State Park
The clouds headed East & left blue stuff behind. Folks are going out observing tonight around 7:00-7:30.

The predictions look pretty grim. Mostly cloudy & cold.
A few diehards are talking about going out Sunday if the skies clear, call me ( Scott) for an update 575-5556.

Stargazing @ Stonelick _ Saturday October 4th
The weather looks pretty good an the predicted low of 48 will seem warm in comparison next month.
We'll be setting up around 7:00 but there's some folks talking about cooking out around 6:00. If you'd be interested in food & cooking out let me know - I'll try to update everyone.

Stargazing @ Stonelick Lake - September 27th
I've been hoping the forecasters would change their minds about the cloud cover.
Predictions aren't good for Friday & Saturday night. It's looking like next week might be our best chance, keep you fingers crossed.

Stargazing @ Stoneli9ck Lake - Saturday Aug. 30th
The weather looks almost perfect for stargazing tomorrow night.
We'll be setting up around 8:00, coffee by 11:00 or so.

Stargazing @ Stonelick Lake State Park - Saturday August 23rd
Predictions call for partly cloudy skies with a low of 66 degrees.
The last quarter Moon will break the trees after midnight. We should have coffee going by 11:00 or so.

Perseid Meteor Shower - Tuesday morning Aug 12th. 2008
The best time to watch the shower this year will be before dawn Tuesday morning.
A handful of folks are heading to Stonelick Lake Monday night and a couple people mentioned Tuesday night.

Stargazing @ Stonelick Lake Saturday Aug 2nd
The predictions for Sat. are calling for clear to partly cloudy skies & the Clear Sky Clock looks great.
It's getting dark around 9:00 with summer objects placed well early.

This weekend we'll be sharing the parking lot with the Antique Machinery Show. They hold their event at the beach & park a few trailers and campers next to us.

We should have coffee by midnight.

There's a slim chance the clouds will blow through by Saturday night. We'll optimistically be setting up around dusk.

Believe it or not - it's raining. Scattered thundershowers are predicted tonight.
