Stargazing at Stonelick Lake on Saturday November 14th
The predictions are calling for partly cloudy with a low in the mid forties. We'll be setting up around 7:00 ~ 7:30 and I'll try to get the coffee stuff together.
Most of the Summer triangle is observable in the sky around dusk & the Winter objects are up by midnight.
This year we should see some Leonids on Saturday and might have a mini storm on the 17th:

Hi, I went up there and was never able to find the group or anyone else for that matter. Did the event not take place or is the place too well hidden from view?

My guess is that the weather caused people not to attend. I was looking forward to being there all week, but the mostly cloudy skies and poor transparency in the occasional holes made me cancel. Hopefully next week will offer better skies.
